Rudolph has been practicing law for the last 20 years. He has extensive experience in a wide range of legal fields due to the diversity of cases attended to during this time. He currently heads up Boshoff Smuts’ litigation – and commercial departments. He attends to all litigious matters, concentrating on High Court litigation. He has extensive experience in drafting and deal structuring, with a wide spectrum ranging from basic agreements to the more complex.

Johan is a director of the firm and has experience in mining and minerals law, environmental law, litigation, and commercial law. He has a keen interest in the administrative law and is a consultant to several mining companies with his main focus primarily in the mining sector. Johan has appeared on behalf of mining companies charged with contraventions of the mineral and environmental legislation regularly in the last 10 years.
